Middle School Group

Free Vector | Boys and girls with down syndrome

Welcome to Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization’s premier education program! This hugely popular program provides a holistic approach to ensuring your child’s success in school by focusing on advocacy, behavior and social interaction.

 The Family Education Program involves the whole family.

  • Parents attend 90 minute workshops.

  • Tweens participate in Facilitated Social Interaction led by teachers.

Eight Sessions are held once a month on Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

at GCDSO Resource Center. 

The Middle School group will focus on:

  • Encouraging parent-directed discussion
  • Presenting lectures on topics of interest to the group
  • Transitioning into High School
  • Creating opportunities to meet and share with other parents
